THE JOURNEY
Basketball has been a tool throughout my life—from using the game to reach college, to coaching and developing players, to helping my own children navigate their basketball journeys.
THE PARENT PERSPECTIVE
When my children chose basketball, I experienced the game from a different seat. I wasn't just thinking like a former player or coach anymore. I had to make decisions as a parent about development, teams, trainers, opportunities and what was actually best for my child.
EVERY JOURNEY IS DIFFERENT
No two players have the same ability, circumstances, goals or opportunities. What makes sense for one player may make no sense for another. BPP starts with understanding the player you actually have—not chasing somebody else's path.

Basketball Parent Playbook was created to make that experience and perspective accessible to other families—to help parents make informed decisions and help players build a foundation that translates to the game.
